Healthcare Solutions is led by Dr. Shellie N. Smith, a caring Licensed Chiropractor known for her gentle approach. She completed her Undergraduate Studies at Houston Baptist University, where she double-majored and obtained a BA in Kinesiology-Wellness Management and Psychology in 2005. She played basketball there on a scholarship and obtained three Dean's List Honors.
Dr. Smith continued her education at Texas Chiropractic College, where she received a BS in Human Biology. She went on to obtain a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2010. There at TCC, she also received three Dean’s List Certifications, in which qualified her for the Omega Psi Honor Society Credentialing.
She has over 5200 class hours completed in Health, Nutrition, Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, X-Ray, Wellness, and Chiropractic. Dr. Shellie is a part of a network of trusted Physicians, Nurse Practicioners, Orthopedics, ENT's, and Cardiologist. Since graduating, Dr. Smith is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the American Black Chiropractic Association and the Texas Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Shellie is a Nationally Certified Medical Examiner and performs Department of Transportation Physicals on commercial truck drivers in order to keep our truckers and highways safe. She has a big heart for Veterans and has opened up an avenue for VA Assistance Programs to help Veterans get ChiroCare without allowing funds to come in the way of their health.
Dr. Smiths' philanthropic acts are geared towards Kenya & Ghana. She has visited Kenya before and states that it was "life-changing". She prides herself in giving monetary donations to organizations who use recycled materials to create unique African jewelry. This jewelry in turn helps fund many operations in order to provide food, shelter and essentials for Kenyan & Ghanaian families.
Dr. Shellie believes that Chiropractic is her ultimate purpose and calling in life. Afterall, this skill has been in Dr. Smith’s family for over 30 years, and she feels honored every day to serve Houston residents with her gifted hands.

Our Pool-On-Site for AquaTHERAPY is a limited factor! It is most beneficial to patients who have underwent surgical operations and are in need of non-gravity based rehabilitation.
